Oklahoma is the most active earthquake site in the ENTIRE WORLD. Our state went from having only two magnitude 3.0 or larger earthquakes each year before 2009 to nearly 2 per day! Over 5,000 earthquakes have taken a toll on Oklahoma this year alone.

Most earthquakes felt in Oklahoma are below a 5.0 on the Richter scale.
